Speech and Language Teacher (Part Time)
You will be working within a specialist SEN hub, supporting a small group of 6–8 Key Stage 2 pupils with a range of speech, language, and communication needs. The school has been rated “Good” and prides itself on its nurturing ethos and strong team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver tailored speech and language interventions to support pupil development * Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to implement individual support plans * Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed * Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment What We Offer: * Competitive daily rate (£150–£200) * Support from experienced Teaching Assistants * A welcoming and collaborative school environment * Opportunity to make a real difference in a specialist SEN setting Requirements: * Qualified Speech and Language Teacher or relevant experience in a similar role * Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within SEN * Strong communication and teamwork skills * A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for a flexible, fulfilling role, we would love to hear from you
