Location: Aston, Birmingham
Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS) + SEN Allowance TBC
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Contract: Long-term Temporary with Potential for Permanent Appointment
- Deliver tailored learning programmes that meet individual EHCP targets.
- Create engaging lessons that are accessible and appropriately differentiated.
- Use structured teaching approaches to support communication, learning, and behaviour.
- Work closely with teaching assistants to provide targeted support and interventions.
- Track pupil progress and adapt provision to maximise outcomes.
- Foster a calm, supportive, and predictable classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents, external agencies, and school staff to ensure joined-up support.
- Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with pupils with SEND, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
- Understanding of adaptive teaching and inclusive practice.
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
