Need help cutting firewood into manageable approximate sizes
I’m looking for a reliable helper to cut and stack firewood for our fireplace. We have a pile of seasoned logs around 16-20 inches long that need to be split into smaller pieces suitable for burning. The work will involve using a saw or splitter, ensuring clean cuts, and safely handling heavy logs. Quiet, outdoor-friendly, and careful with safety. If you can bring or supply basic PPE (gloves, eye protection) that would be great. Please note access is via a small garden gate and there’s a muddy patch in the yard after rain. I’d prefer someone who can work efficiently and leave the area tidy when finished.
