The Role
The School Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support across the school office, ensuring daily operations run efficiently. This is a busy, varied role requiring excellent organisation, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include:
• Front-of-house reception duties and parent communication
• Managing attendance records and pupil data
• Supporting admissions, enquiries, and pupil files
• General administration, data entry, and record keeping
• Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies
• Using school systems such as SIMS or Arbor (desirable)
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and confidentiality
Candidate Profile
The school is seeking a reliable and proactive administrator with previous experience in a school or education setting. You should be confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a professional, approachable manner.
Essential requirements include:
• Experience working in a school office or similar education setting
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or similar MIS systems (desirable)
• Commitment to safeguarding procedures and data protection
• Ability to start immediately
