Requirements for the Non-Medical Prescriber Job in Birmingham
- Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or Allied Health Professional with an active NMC, GPhC, or HCPC registration.
- Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in prescribing and managing medications safely and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines, NICE standards, and legal frameworks governing prescribing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and high standards of care.
Qualifications and Experience for the Non-Medical Prescriber
- Experience in primary care, mental health, community health, or urgent care settings.
- Knowledge of long-term conditions management, ADHD, pain management, or substance misuse.
- Experience in leading patient consultations and managing complex cases.
