The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Sociology Teacher to join a highly successful Social Sciences Department from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach Sociology at A Level, delivering engaging, challenging lessons that foster critical thinking and independent enquiry.
You will:
- Teach high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, maintaining outstanding academic outcomes.
- Inspire and engage students through dynamic, discussion-based learning and real-world application of sociological ideas.
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and enrichment activities.
- Support the school’s ethos of excellence and inclusion, both in the classroom and across the wider community.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).
- Strong academic background in Sociology or a related discipline.

- Commitment to continuous professional growth and collaboration.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
