We are recruiting for a talented Senior AV Technician for a highly regarded Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham. This full-time, permanent position starts in April 2026 and offers a fantastic opportunity to lead the technical direction of the school's events. Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day running of the AV department and mentor junior technical staff
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the AV stores and control rooms
Coordinate the technical requirements for all external lettings and community events
Lead the implementation of new AV technologies across the campus
Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless network integration for AV devices
Qualifications and Experience
Significant experience in AV management or senior technical support
Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
Ability to handle complex logistics with calm and precision
Must have the right to work in the UK
Salary and Benefits
Competitive Salary: £27,000 - £32,500
