Construction Manager - Birmingham
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Plan, coordinate, and sequence construction activities to meet programme milestones
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly within a live hospital environment
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance and control
- Coordinate with design, commercial, and client teams to resolve technical and delivery challenges
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including the client and hospital representatives.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale construction projects, ideally within healthcare or complex live environments
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and temporary works
- Demonstrable leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent understanding of UK health & safety legislation and best practice
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and subcontract packages
- Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
- SMSTS and CSCS required.
