Quantity Surveyor
I’m working with a well-established Civils commercial team in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a QS / Assistant QS to join their growing commercial function.
This role is heavily focused on applications for payment under NEC Option B (remeasurement) contracts, working across live infrastructure schemes and playing a key part in monthly valuations, progress assessment and ensuring accurate, timely payments are certified.
They are really keen to speak with someone who has hands-on experience running or supporting applications for payment in an Option B environment, and understands the importance of getting the detail right when it comes to measurement, valuations and cashflow.
Strong Assistant QSs will absolutely be considered, as long as they’ve had exposure to applications for payment on live projects under Option B contracts and are keen to step up.
Salary is circa £50,000, with real flexibility for the right person depending on experience and level, particularly where there is proven capability in this specific area.
