Process Operative - 2 Shift Rotation

We are currently recruiting Process Operatives for a well-established manufacturing site based in Erdington , supplying into a fast-paced industrial environment.

This is a physical, hands-on role and would suit candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working with machinery and metal components.

Role Overview

As a Process Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Loading sheets of metal into production machinery (up to 11kg)
• Operating machinery following training
• Visual inspection of finished components
• Maintaining quality standards and attention to detail
• Working to health & safety procedures at all times
• Keeping work areas clean and organised

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting
• Good eye for detail and quality inspection
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)

⏰ Shift Patterns

Most vacancies are on a 2-shift rotation :

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

Candidates must be flexible to work shifts as required.

Pay & Allowances

• £12.71 per hour basic
• 37.5 hours per week

Shift allowance paid per shift worked , with effective hourly rate shown:

• 06:00-14:00 → +£6.00 per day
• = £13.51 per hour
• 14:00-22:00 → +£12.00 per day
• = £14.31 per hour
