The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Dudley is seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
The role involves teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and structured lessons that support strong progress and attainment. You will play a key role in preparing students for GCSE English, developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching English at secondary level
• Be confident delivering GCSE English Language and Literature
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to improving pupil outcomes and engagement
