Management Accountant
We're recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temp‑to‑perm basis to join a growing business based on the Birmingham Business Park. This is a hands‑on role supporting the day‑to‑day finance function, with strong exposure to operational reporting and senior stakeholders, and a clear opportunity to move into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Production of monthly management accounts , including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts , working closely with operational managers
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end close duties
- Cashflow reporting and support with working capital management
- Analysis of operational and logistics costs to support decision‑making
- Supporting year‑end and audit processes as required
- Identifying and improving finance processes and controls
