Senior Fabricator (Full Project Ownership) Aston, Birmingham (B6) £16.00 - £19.00 per hour (DOE) Monday to Friday | Day Shift Permanent Position

Workforce Manufacturing are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing fabrication company based in Aston, Birmingham. Known for delivering high-quality, bespoke metalwork, they have built a strong reputation for precision, reliability, and craftsmanship.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a skilled Fabricator who can take full ownership of projects - from raw material through to finished product.

This is not just a welding role - it's an opportunity for a true fabricator who enjoys building, problem-solving, and seeing a job through from start to finish.

The Role
You'll be working on a variety of bespoke and batch work, with full responsibility for the fabrication process:

Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
Measuring, marking out, cutting, and preparing materials
Operating fabrication machinery (press brakes, guillotines, band saws, etc.)
Fabricating and assembling components to a high standard
Managing your own workload and working independently
Ensuring all work meets quality and specification requirements

Welding will be involved, however the emphasis is on overall fabrication capability and build quality , rather than purely welding.

Proven experience as a fabricator (not just a welder)
Ability to complete jobs from start to finish independently
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience using a range of fabrication machinery
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
