Customs Clerk
Compliance: Ensure transportation documents and manifests are ready for transmission by 00:30.
Accuracy: Manage export clearances and manifests to prevent disruption to Irish import processes.
Technical Tasks: Execute AWB cutting, flight manifest building, and safety/security filings.
Administration: Maintain reporting for transactional charging and resolve customer or customs queries. Requirements Experience: 2+ years in Import/Export and Customs Compliance (Air and Road).
Systems: Proficiency with HMRC, Border Force, CHIEF, and CDS.
Regulation: Fully conversant with current import/export laws.
Qualification: Professional qualification in Customs or International Trade.
Skills: Advanced IT skills, specifically Excel, and strong commercial acumen.Competencies Resourcefulness: Ability to overcome barriers to ensure operational success.
Communication: Professional written and verbal skills for diverse audiences.
Improvement Mindset: Focused on operational excellence and solutions-oriented change
