James Brindley is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has experience in working with young people with autism and SEMH needs from KS2 up to GCSE level. In order to support the activities of the individual young person/small groups, you should have experience of assisting young people in a classroom environment, as well as be able to implement agreed behaviour management strategies consistently and effectively. A good standard of education, including Math and English GCSE at C (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent are essential.

Location: Based at Dovedale - may be required to work at any other TDET centres.

Contract: Permanent, term-time only, 32.5 hours per week.

Salary: GRADE 3: SCP 20-28 £27,254pa (pro rata) - £33,699pa (pro rata) + pro rata SEN allowance £1,723pa +uplifted by 50% SEN TA whilst working at Dovedale.
