A high-performing and well-established secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a meticulous and proactive Admissions & Data Officer to join its busy and professional support team. This role sits at the heart of the school’s operations, supporting student admissions, census returns and whole-school data accuracy.

The Role

You will take responsibility for managing the school’s admissions processes alongside key aspects of pupil data and statutory reporting. Working closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams and external agencies, you will help ensure the school’s records are accurate, compliant and up to date.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating admissions and transfers throughout the academic year

• Maintaining accurate pupil records on the school’s MIS

• Supporting census returns and statutory data submissions

• Producing reports for leadership, pastoral teams and external stakeholders

• Acting as a point of contact for families regarding admissions-related queries

This role requires a high level of accuracy, discretion and confidence when dealing with sensitive information.
