Site Manager - Sparkhill, Birmingham (Temp to Perm)
Daily rate: £130-£150 (DOE)
Hours: 7.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday, all year round Start/finish times: To be confirmed

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations, safety, and maintenance of a thriving primary school site. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity for someone who is proactive, organised, and confident managing others.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting one Premises Assistant
• Overseeing all site operations, including security, maintenance, and health & safety
• Conducting routine checks, audits, and compliance tasks
• Liaising with contractors and external services
• Ensuring the site is safe, clean, and fully operational each day
• Responding to urgent issues and supporting the wider school team

This role requires someone who can balance hands‑on practical work with confident leadership and clear communication across the school.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a school site manager or senior premises role
• Strong managerial skills and the ability to lead confidently
• Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance
• DBS on the Update Service (essential)
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Flexible and responsive to the needs of a busy school environment

Hours & Contract

• 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
• All‑year‑round role
• Temp to perm for the right candidate
• Start and finish times to be confirmed
