School Site Manager
Site Manager - Sparkhill, Birmingham (Temp to Perm)
Daily rate: £130-£150 (DOE)
Hours: 7.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday, all year round Start/finish times: To be confirmed

With a busy site and a strong focus on high standards, they are seeking a confident Site Manager who can lead one other premises assistant and take full ownership of the estate.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations, safety, and maintenance of a thriving primary school site. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity for someone who is proactive, organised, and confident managing others.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supporting one Premises Assistant
- Overseeing all site operations, including security, maintenance, and health & safety
- Conducting routine checks, audits, and compliance tasks
- Liaising with contractors and external services
- Ensuring the site is safe, clean, and fully operational each day
- Responding to urgent issues and supporting the wider school team
This role requires someone who can balance hands‑on practical work with confident leadership and clear communication across the school.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a school site manager or senior premises role
- Strong managerial skills and the ability to lead confidently
- Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance
- DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Flexible and responsive to the needs of a busy school environment
Hours & Contract
- 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
- All‑year‑round role
- Temp to perm for the right candidate
- Start and finish times to be confirmed
